  5.     Introduction:

  7.     PBTools:Classic  is  a library of functions and procedures for use with
  8.     PowerBASIC 3.0 or higher.  It  includes  powerful  windowing  routines,
  9.     masked  data  entry,  screen  handling,  menus,  keyboard routines, and
  10.     string   manipulation   tools.    (For   a   full   demonstration    of
  11.     PBTools:Classic,  run  the  file  DEMO.EXE included with this archive.)
  12.     This  library  was  developed  and  published  by  Dave  Navarro,   Jr.

  17.     You  are  hereby granted a limited license to use PBTools:Classic for a
  18.     thirty (30) day period for the purpose of evaluating it  for  your  own
  19.     use.    After   thirty  days,  you  are  required  to  either  register
  20.     PBTools:Classic or stop using it.   To  continue  using  it  after  the
  21.     thirty  day  period has ended is a violation of copyright laws and just
  22.     isn't a nice thing to do.

  24.     The Shareware version of PBTools:Classic is NOT crippled  in  any  way.
  25.     There  are no missing features or timers.  The only differences between
  26.     the registered and unregistered  versions  of  PBTools:Classic  is  the
  27.     Shareware  version  contains  the copyright holder's name and copyright
  28.     notice in the UNIT file and the source is not  included.   Full  source
  29.     code is supplied to all users upon registration.

  31.     You  may  not  use  any  of  the  PBTools:Classic routines in a program
  32.     written for resale  (including  shareware)  without  first  paying  the
  33.     registration    fee    to    the   author.       Ordering   Information

  37.     To   register   your   copy   of   PBTools:Classic,  send  a  completed
  38.     order   form   with   appropriate    payment    to    the    publisher.
  39.     Registered   users  receive  full  source  code  to  all  the  routines
  40.     in  PBTools:Classic,   and   may   freely   use   these   routines   in
  41.     their   own   programs   without   identifying   the  copyright  holder
  42.     or  paying  any  royalties.   Registered  users   may   freely   modify
  43.     the  source  code  for  their  own  purposes.   (The  source  code,  in
  44.     original  or  modified  form,  may  not   be   distributed,   however.)
  45.     Once   you   have  registered  PBTools:Classic,  you  are  eligible  to
  46.     receive  any  and  all  future  versions  of  PBTools:Classic   for   a
  47.     small fee to cover media and shipping costs.

  52.     All  orders  must  be  paid  in  U.S.  funds  drawn  on  a  U.S.  bank.
  53.     (International  customers  may  pay  with an international postal money
  54.     order.)  Payment may be made  via  credit  card,  personal  or  company
  55.     check,  cashier's  check, or money order.  Make checks payable to "Dave

  58.     Credit card users can also call The Consultant BBS at 718-837-3236 with
  59.     your  modem  set  to 8-N-1, and place your order online with your Visa,
  60.     MasterCard,  or  American  Express  For  instructions,  just  read  the
  61.     bulletin  labeled  "Ordering  Shareware  Online", or leave a message to
  62.     "Dave Navarro".

  67.     You can register PBTools:Classic online with CompuServe.  Just type "GO
  68.     SWREG" at any "!" prompt.  Just use ID #1344 when asked for the program
  69.     you  want  to  register.  The $39 will then be added to your CompuServe
  70.     bill.  [Note:  This may take  up  to  three  weeks  for  CompuServe  to
  71.     process your purchase.  PBTC will be mailed to you as soon as the order
  72.     is placed by CIS. If you are an overseas user, PBTC will be sent to you
  73.     through CompuServe mail.
